![]() The movie is set in a prison that is overcrowded, its prisoners are growing increasingly violent towards themselves and the prison staff. The third movie is touted as being 100% politically incorrect and tries its absolute hardest to live up to that tag line. Just as the previous movie did, the second pulled no punches and tried to disgust the audience as much as possible. Like its predecessor, the movie also provided audiences with visceral horror through the presentation of disturbing scenes of violence and creepy atmosphere. The second of the three featured a gritty, black and white story involving a troubled young man who decides to-wait for it-create a human centipede. If art can be measured by the amount of emotion that the audience or viewer emits, then the first movie could possibly be considered art. Although not very suspenseful, the movie was provocative and left little to the imagination of the viewer. The Human Centipede managed to make its way through from underground buzz to mainstream attention. ![]() There were not many surprises to be found and the movie delivered exactly what was promised in the trailer. In 2009, Human Centipede was released and was touted as 100% medically accurate and featured a doctor who wanted nothing more than to surgically alter three people so as to create one single digestive tract. Released on May 22nd via IFC Midnight, the last in the series follows its predecessors in an attempt to evoke the most basic of emotions in its viewers, ie: disgust. But a truly ball-churning scene is included where Bill Boss castrates an inmate who’d mocked and threatened to rape him. There are some new shocks including getting fucked in the kidney (not explicit), waterboarding with boiling water and of course the epic view of the monstrously gargantuan final centipede winding its way through the prison yard. Also felt the character of Bill Boss is a sort of shitty tribute to Col Kurtz from Apocalypse Now.ġ. There are a few bits that drag and while Part 3 isn’t as depraved as Part 2, it’s a pretty good closing chapter to the poop Trilogy. Boss is initially averse to any idea that isn’t his, but eventually agrees to meet with Director Tom Six and discuss implementing the centipede…. In this third part, Butler is inspired by the first two parts and suggests to his boss that they implement the human centipede in their prison as a deterrent for nation-wide criminals as well as an expense buster. But once you’re done acclimatizing, Bill Boss is quite enjoyable as is Dwight Butler as his loyal and pathetically subservient helper. So when you’re first introduced to the loud almost camp Bill Boss, it takes a while getting used to. In Human Centipede 1, Dieter Laser for the most part was reserved and had a certain dignity to his presence. Laurence Harvey as Dwight Butler, a subservient assistant to Bill Boss.
